Program Leader

Yoga became part of my daily life to achieve a peaceful body and mind; it helps me manage stress and anxiety and keeps me relaxed and able to focus by bringing together physical and mental disciplines. Yoga also improves my breathing, energy and vitality.

When children learn techniques for self-care, relaxation, and inner fulfillment, they can navigate life's challenges with a little more ease. Yoga at any age encourages self-esteem and body awareness through physical activity that is non-competitive.

Having YTFS Program Leaders in schools, yoga and mindfulness education can be shared as a secular practice with the purpose of improving learning while supporting the health and well-being of students and educators.
